At Plant In The Box, we take pride in delivering the highest quality houseplants—whether as part of our mystery subscription plant boxes, houseplant bundles, or premium individual plant gift boxes. Our goal is to ensure that every plant arrives safely at its new home.
Because our plants are living, perishable items, we do not accept returns. However, we understand that shipping can sometimes be unpredictable. If your plant arrives dead, heavily damaged, or is lost, we’re here to make it right.
What to Do If Your Plant Arrives Damaged
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Include a clear photo of the damaged plant in your email and/or detail of the issue.
- Our customer care team will review your claim and, if eligible, arrange for a replacement plant to be sent to you.
Need to Update Your Shipping Address?
In a rush and didn’t catch the autofill? It happens! One-click checkout loves to surprise us all, and we’re here to help. If you realize your shipping address needs a quick fix, we can update it within two hours of purchase during our normal business hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM PT
- Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM – 4 PM PT
If your order falls outside of this window, we’ll do our best to make the edit, but once a shipping label has been generated and tracking information has been provided, we won’t be able to modify the order.
Can I Cancel My Order?
Due to our fast fulfillment process, orders cannot be canceled or modified once placed. As soon as you complete your purchase, your order is immediately sent to our nurseries for processing and shipment. This ensures that your plant arrives fresh and healthy as quickly as possible.
